An RV parked near Lake Conroe presents different pickup questions than one behind a gated storage entrance in Pearland or beside a house in Galveston. If you’re looking for RV buyers in the Houston area, the useful question is not just whether your city is covered—it is how the RV can be reached and removed from its current spot.
Lisa RV Buyers is based at 18468 Sunrise Oaks Ct, Montgomery, TX 77316, on the west side of Lake Conroe, north of Houston. We buy directly from owners throughout Greater Houston. You do not need to bring your RV to our address; we plan around where it is parked.
Which counties do RV buyers in the Houston area cover?
Our core coverage includes Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, Brazoria and Galveston counties, along with nearby communities. The table below gives examples, not a boundary around every place we can consider.
| County | Examples of communities we serve | Useful location details |
|---|---|---|
| Harris | Houston, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, Pasadena, Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Channelview and Crosby | Neighborhood entrance, storage address and nearest major road |
| Montgomery | Montgomery, Conroe, The Woodlands and Magnolia | Lake-side location, driveway access and distance from the main road |
| Fort Bend | Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg and Fulshear | Gate rules, subdivision access and exact parking location |
| Brazoria | Pearland and Alvin | Storage entrance, rural driveway conditions and room to turn |
| Galveston | Friendswood, League City, Dickinson, Texas City and Galveston | Park rules, island location and access to the RV space |
Some communities cross county lines, so your actual RV address matters more than the county attached to a mailing address. Katy and Baytown are also part of the regional discussion below. If your community is missing, call or text 936-234-4278 with the location and ask about coverage rather than assuming it is outside our area.
How are distance, access and Houston RV pickup planned?
Pickup planning starts with the RV’s exact location, its size and condition, and the route into and out of the property. Distance from Montgomery is only one part of the trip: a nearby trailer behind a locked gate can require more coordination than a farther RV with open access.
The main regional corridors include I-45, I-10, US 59/I-69, US 290, SH 249, SH 288 and the Grand Parkway. These roads help describe where the RV sits, but the final approach matters too. Tell us about narrow neighborhood streets, low branches, steep driveway transitions, soft ground or limited turning space before a visit is arranged.
Lisa RV Buyers comes to the RV and arranges its pickup. A driveway, acreage property, storage facility, RV park or repair shop can work, provided access and permission are settled. You do not have to relocate the RV simply to request an offer.
Before a visit, gather these details:
- At home: Explain where the RV is parked and whether vehicles, fences or other obstacles restrict access.
- At a storage facility: Ask management about gate hours, visitor entry, seller attendance and any release requirements.
- In a gated community: Confirm guest-entry instructions and any HOA rules affecting RV access or removal.
- At an RV park: Check office requirements, permitted vehicle access and the route to your space.
- At a repair shop: Ask who can authorize release and whether any outstanding shop requirements must be resolved.
Do not assume your personal gate code can be shared or that an exit gate accepts incoming traffic. Send the correct entrance address and explain any appointment requirements. If the RV cannot move under its own power or has tire problems, disclose that early so those conditions can be considered in the pickup arrangements.
Photos and your description also help us form an initial offer without requiring you to move the RV. There is no fee or commitment to request that offer. The amount is confirmed after an in-person look, so include condition issues rather than leaving them to be discovered at the property.

Where do you buy RVs north of Houston and around Lake Conroe?
We buy RVs in Montgomery, Conroe, The Woodlands and Spring, including units kept at homes, on acreage and in storage. This is the region closest to our Montgomery base, but lake roads and individual property entrances still need attention.
See our pages for RV owners in Montgomery, TX and selling an RV in Conroe, TX. Tell us which side of Lake Conroe the RV is on and how the property connects to I-45 or nearby roads. For The Woodlands or Spring, include gated-neighborhood instructions and any restrictions on vehicle access.
Where do you buy RVs in northwest Houston?
Our northwest coverage includes Tomball, Magnolia and Cypress. SH 249 and US 290 are useful reference points, while the Grand Parkway helps identify locations between those corridors.
Our Cypress RV buying page covers that community in more detail. Across the northwest area, an RV may sit in a subdivision driveway, behind a home or on a larger rural property. Describe the surface leading to it and whether there is room to approach without crossing a lawn. If the storage entrance differs from the business’s mailing address, send the entrance location.
Where do you buy RVs west of Houston?
We buy RVs in Katy and Fulshear, including those stored away from the owner’s home. I-10 and the Grand Parkway help locate many west-side properties, but a city name alone does not identify the right entrance.
Visit our Katy RV buying page for local coverage. Katy-area addresses can extend across county lines, so share the address where the RV actually sits. For newer subdivisions around Katy and Fulshear, check HOA access rules and tell us if street parking or driveway clearance could affect removal. Storage office hours should also be confirmed before a visit.
Where do you buy RVs southwest of Houston?
We cover Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond and Rosenberg in the southwest region. US 59/I-69 is a main route through this area, with the Grand Parkway providing another useful location reference.
Our Sugar Land RV buying page explains coverage there. For any southwest location, distinguish your home address from the RV’s storage address. A seller in Missouri City may keep a fifth wheel farther out near Richmond or Rosenberg. The pickup plan follows the RV, so include the facility name, space number and management’s entry requirements rather than only your mailing address.
Where do you buy RVs south of Houston?
We buy RVs in Pearland and Alvin, with access planned around the specific driveway, storage space or property. SH 288 is a useful regional reference, though the last stretch to the RV may involve smaller roads.
See our Pearland RV buying page for that area. Around Alvin and outlying properties, mention unpaved access, drainage ditches and gates set close to the road. In Pearland subdivisions, tell us about limited street width or parked cars near the driveway. These details help identify access questions before anyone arrives at the property.
Where do you buy RVs in the Bay Area and Galveston?
Our coverage includes Friendswood, League City, Clear Lake in Houston, Pasadena, Dickinson, Texas City and Galveston. I-45 is a main corridor toward the coast, but the exact park, storage entrance or neighborhood location determines the final approach.
Read about RV buying in League City, TX and selling an RV in Galveston, TX. For coastal storage or an RV park, confirm office access rules and identify the space clearly. If you live elsewhere but keep the RV on the island, use its Galveston location when discussing pickup—not your home address.
Where do you buy RVs east of Houston and around Lake Houston?
We cover Baytown, Channelview, Crosby, Humble, Kingwood and Atascocita in the east and Lake Houston region. I-10 and US 59/I-69 help orient the trip, while local roads determine access to the RV itself.
Our Humble RV buying page provides a local reference. Lake Houston neighborhoods, east-side storage facilities and acreage properties can have different entry requirements. Share the nearest major road, then explain the actual entrance. For Baytown or another community near a county boundary, send the precise RV location so coverage and travel can be discussed without relying on the city name alone.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to live in the same county where my RV is stored?
No. For pickup planning, the relevant location is where your RV is parked, not where you live. You might live in Harris County and keep your trailer in Montgomery or Galveston County. Share the RV’s exact address, your relationship to the storage space and any entry requirements so the visit can be planned around the right property.
Can you consider an RV in a community that is not listed?
Yes. The listed cities are examples within Greater Houston, not a complete inventory of every community we serve. Call or text 936-234-4278 with the RV’s address or nearby crossroads to ask about a location outside the list. Include the RV type and any access issues so the coverage discussion accounts for more than distance alone.
What if I cannot be present to open the storage gate?
Explain that before a visit is arranged and ask the storage manager what access options are permitted. Do not assume a shared gate code or an unattended visit is allowed. Entry permission also does not replace your authority to sell: the RV must have a lawful ownership path, and required sale paperwork still needs to be completed.
Should I move my RV from the backyard to the street first?
You do not need to move the RV just to request an offer. Describe its current position and send photos showing the approach, nearby obstacles and available space. If moving it would involve soft ground, a tight gate or a difficult turn, explain that first rather than creating a new access problem. Pickup arrangements account for its existing location.
Does your service area include every type of used RV?
We consider used RVs of all years, makes and models throughout our service area. That includes travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, Class A gas and diesel motorhomes, Class B camper vans, Class C and Super C motorhomes, pop-up campers and truck campers. Tell us the RV type, condition and location because each affects the offer or pickup discussion.
